Mulayyanagiri is the highest peak in Karnataka, India. Mullayyanagiri is located in the Chandra Dhrona Hill Ranges of the Western Ghats of Chikkamagaluru Taluk.The caves are accessible and not very deep.Seethalayyanagiri is a prominent peak is adjacent to this place.
Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area and a tiger reserve located 38 km Northwest of Chikkamagaluru. Bhadra sanctuary has a wide range of flora and fauna and is a popular place for day outings. An estimated 33 tigers are found in Bhadra. Other mammals in the sanctuary include elephant, gaur, sloth bear, wild boar, black leopard, jungle cat etc,.

It is about 48 kilometres from Karkala and around 20 kilometres from Kalasa. The name Kuduremukha refers to a particular picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles a horse's face.
